5.0/10
My stay at the hotel was a mix of charm and significant issues. The historic beauty of the property is evident, but it's overshadowed by poor maintenance and renovations that should have been communicated. While I appreciated the staff's effort to be friendly, the rooms left much to be desired, making this a frustrating experience overall.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were in desperate need of renovation. The ceiling fan wobbled ominously, and the bathrooms had peeling paint and odd heating issues. Overall, it felt outdated and uncomfortable.
Service
5.0
Though the staff were pleasant and eager to help, the lack of proper service, like housekeeping, was disappointing.
Location
8.0
The location is great, positioned conveniently for exploring local attractions and nearby dining options.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, especially during the week, and we were surprised by the restrictions on meal availability.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are currently under reconstruction, which made for a less pleasant atmosphere overall. The pool and gym equipment were also not maintained well.

The hotel has a charming historic beauty that adds to its appeal, but there were significant downsides during my stay, including issues with room cleanliness and parking, which left me a bit disappointed. The spa experience was absolutely amazing, making it a highlight of the visit.
Rooms
5.0
The room was not super clean and had some outdated features, but the space was quite large with two double beds.
Service
6.0
The service varied; while some staff were quick to assist, I did encounter long waits for resolution at times.
Location
8.0
It's conveniently located near local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed that the dining room closed earlier than expected, despite seeing others still enjoying the buffet.
Facilities
7.0
The spa offered an excellent experience and is a major asset, but other facilities need upgrading.
