My stay at the hotel was a mix of charm and significant issues. The historic beauty of the property is evident, but it's overshadowed by poor maintenance and renovations that should have been communicated. While I appreciated the staff's effort to be friendly, the rooms left much to be desired, making this a frustrating experience overall.

The rooms were in desperate need of renovation. The ceiling fan wobbled ominously, and the bathrooms had peeling paint and odd heating issues. Overall, it felt outdated and uncomfortable.
